Teresa Leigh Brown, 58, of Southaven, MS passed away on June 18, 2022. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Brown; parents, Arnold Howard Smith and Gloria Jean Anders Smith; and a sister, Pamela Stimpson. She is survived by her son, Chris Brown(Carol); daughter, Lissa Younker(Allen); grandchildren: Ricky, Angel, Adrienna, Kenny, Larissah, and John; brother, Kenneth Howard Smith(Rennae); sister, Patricia Lynn Skinner; and a nephew, Darian Smith. Teresa was born March 15, 1964 in Memphis, TN. She is a graduate of West Side High School. She got her BSN and worked for Homestead Senior Care. She loved her work and as a nurse because she had a servant’s heart and enjoyed taking care of people. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and watching wrestling. She was also an animal lover, especially her dog, Maggie. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Brantley Funeral Home from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Park.
