Vera Elizabeth McKeown, 77, passed away March 3, 2016 at home with her family by her side. She was born June 2, 1938 to the late Clarence and Claudine Yon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erzelle Umberger, son, Richard Grooms, daughter, Sharon Lazenby and 4 brothers. She is survived by her daughter Ann (Barry) Williams, step son, Lewis Umberger, grandchildren; Jennifer Huntley, Gary Womble, Kimberly Gipson and Joshua Sanders, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016 also at Brantley funeral Home.
