Willie Mae Raines, 80, of Hernando, passed away December 4, 2010. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, and funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Bakers Chapel Cemetery. Willie Mae was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. She enjoyed being outside and had quite a green thumb. She always had a smile on her face and had a unique ability to make you laugh. She was devoted to her family and her church. She is survived by her son, Harold E. Raines of Hernando; 3 sisters, Annie Rivers Pannell of Corinth, MS, Virginia Thompson of Horn Lake, MS, and Eva Evelyn Hudson of Olive Branch, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Love Worth Finding Ministries at Bellevue Baptist Church.
