It is with profound sadness that the Shull family announces the passing of Leo Shull. He is cherished by his wife Alice, of 63 years. Lovingly remembered by children: Diane (Clive) Sutherland, Robert (Patricia) Shull, Terry (Stephani) Shull and Beatrice; grandchildren: Jason (Audra) Shull, Kelly Gibbs, Matthew (Kate) Shull, Amanda (Bryan) Botbijl, Sara Shull, Jessica Shull and Michelle Gjuricic and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Tom and only brother Nestor. Born in Ituna, Sask., Leo moved to the lower mainland of Vancouver to start a family. He owned many sheet metal and construction companies and was also involved in Real Estate Development. Dad was very involved in the Kinsman Club and Hunting and Sportsman’s Clubs. Leo also started a Team of Volunteers to build Annieville Park in North Delta to house Youth Sports in that area. He also coached hockey, baseball and was the past president of the North Delta baseball association. Mom and Dad moved to Osoyoos to retire in 1991 and Dad always said, “We are all living in Paradise”. Dad’s hobbies included fishing and he had a tremendous amount of friends at the Swap meet in OK Falls. He was a great role model for all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was the most positive person ever. Everyone that knew Leo enjoyed his happiness that seemed to beam through him to others and all of us. Funeral service, Thursday, July 10 at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home, 5290 Kootenay Street, Oliver. Interment to follow in the Osoyoos Cemetery. If desired, donations in Leo’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Arrangements under the direction of Graham Funeral Home, Oliver, BC.
