

Aletha was born August 9, 1920 in Gentry County, Missouri.
Aletha was a devoted mother and caregiver to all she encountered. Her passion for children inspired her to adopt a daughter with special needs and care for a brother after raising her five children. She was an avid reader, loved to play cards, and was very active in several Masonic Organizations. Aletha is a Past Matron of Liberty/Narcissus Chapter 269, OES; Past President of Social Order of the Beauceant Assembly No. 91; Past Worthy High Priestess of Malva Shrine No. 2 Order of White Shrine of Jeruselem; Daughters of the Nile – Sat-Ra Temple No. 59; and Past DeMolay Chapter Mom of Omaha Chapter No 1.
Aletha is survived by her five children, Gail (Donald) Lichtenberg - Omaha, Bev Pickering - Papillion, Di (Chuck) Korenoski - Bellevue, Jerry (Carla) Taff - Lincoln, Jack (Cathy) Taff – Omaha and Beth Ann Taff – Bellevue, 14 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill), and six brothers – Bud, Bob, Bill, Rex, Dick, and Donnie Scott.
VISITATION Monday 5:00PM to 7:00 PM at Crosby Colonial Chapel.
FUNERAL SERVICE Tuesday 10:30AM at Crosby Colonial Chapel.
Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
