Preceded in death by her parents, hard-working Czech immigrants Anna and Albert Foucek; brothers, Frank (twin in infancy), Victor, George, Charles, Albert, and Edward; sisters, Elsie Coleman and Jeanne Chase; former husband and lifelong friend, Charles.
Survived by sister, Mary Hoffman of Palmdale, CA; daughter, Christine Forslund of Omaha; many nieces, nephews, and beloved pets.
Anne was a very capable person who was an executive secretary at OPPD for 30 years where she made many wonderful friends. She was very creative and artistic. Whatever she did was done well.
Anne was always an animal lover, volunteering as a docent for the zoo, Heartland Equestrian Riding Academy and animal rescue. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Omaha Performing Arts and the Girl Scouts. All who loved her would mention her radiant smile and good nature. She was the best company, having such a kind and generous heart. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, Nebraska Humane Society, Henry Doorly Zoo, or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
VISITATION 5-7pm Thursday, December 8 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Private interment at Bohemian Cemetery.
