Billy was a drywall legend. He started carrying drywall at the young age of 14. He went on to start and run a successful company Stalkers Inc. with his loving wife, Brenda. They were married for fifty eight years, had two children, Vicky and Mike, five grandchildren, and four great grandkids. Billy loved to go fishing and driving his fifty six chevy.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents Byron and Doris Bassett, his two children, Vicki and Mike, his two sisters, Betty and Patty and his grandson Andy Bassett.
Billy is survived by his loving wife Brenda, his grandkids, great grandkids and many friends and family members.
A visitation for Billy will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A burial will occur at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
