Christian was born on September 27, 1995 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. From his first moments, he was a beacon of light in the lives of all he knew and brought an infectious energy to every room he entered. He loved to play a prank and always kept you on your toes. Time spent with Chris always included a lot of laughter and a lot of love.
Christian loved to be outdoors. He loved to hike and was an avid skateboarder. He was absolutely fearless whether that be perfecting a difficult trick on his board or jumping out of an airplane. He taught himself to play guitar and loved to challenge himself learning new songs. Nothing ever felt unattainable when he set his mind to it.
Christian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn Musgrove, Gary Koebel, Charles McCoy, and Cindy Kofoed. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Katrina (née Koebel) and Josh Furler; father and stepmother, James and Vanessa (née Dingman) McCoy; grandmother, Jamie McCoy; brothers, T.J. Reeves and Zackary Furler; sisters, Saraya Rollins, Lexi (Cody) Mabbitt, Madison Bailey, Skye McCoy, and Baylee Furler; nieces, Trinity Rollins and Remi Mabbit; nephew, Knightley Sleep-Rollins; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
