Daniel was a man of faith, a devoted husband, a proud father, and a steadfast friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Marta; children Adrian (fiancée Anna), Simon (wife Victoria), Mason, Lindsey, and Lauren; father Dan and stepmother Barbara; sister Kelly (husband Michael; children Arianna, Joseph, Alexandria, and Daisha); and stepsister Tara (husband Josh; children Carter, Olive, and Jameson). He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first granddaughter.
Daniel graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, then earned his Master’s in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he also pursued doctoral studies. He was a highly respected product and software architect and engineer, publishing two research papers in his field and receiving honors such as the “Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2005” award alongside Microsoft and Cisco Systems.
Yet Daniel’s true passion was his faith. He devoted decades to serving in local churches and spent six years planting a church in Hungary, where he and Marta ministered to many. Whether through preaching, worship, or his daily life, Daniel sought to lead people closer to Jesus and into a deeper understanding of their identity in Him. He will be remembered for his generosity, encouragement, sharp wit, and his deep compassion for others.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and love. His influence will be felt for generations to come.
