Donna June Nyberg

Donna June Nyberg, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 17, 2023. Donna was born June 1, 1938 on a family-owned farm in Lewis, Iowa to George and Christina (Doty) Bode. She was the fifth of six children.

Donna provided many years of dedicated service to Automated Business Forms and Printing before her retirement. She was a devoted and selfless mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by parents, George and Christina Bode; brothers, George Bode Jr., William Bode, and Everett Bode; and sisters, Brenda Biltoft and Clara Hansen.

Those left to cherish Donna’s memory include children, Carla Stephens, Patricia (Rich) James, Michelle Miller, and Lisa Nyberg; grandchildren, Victoria Alcala, Christopher Stephens, Trisha Edmond, Brian James, Jacob Armstrong, Valerie Gonzalez, and Alice Nyberg; great-grandchildren, Maya, Oliver, Nicholas, Catherine, Tyler, Emily, Matthew, Brenden, Zoey, Max, Teddy, and Arlo; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

A visitation for Donna will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
