Easter Mae Armstrong, 80, passed away July 13th at her home in Omaha, Nebraska. Easter M. Armstrong (Jones) aka "Baby Sister" was born in Charleston, MS to Mildred and Xecell Jones. She worked over 25 years for The Corp. of Engineers as a contract specialist before retiring. She was an extremely talented singer and seamstress, and enjoyed fashion. She passed away July 13 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Preceded in death by William M. Armstrong and siblings. Ms. Armstrong is survived by her beloved son and caregiver, Darrick W. (Jackie E.) Armstrong; granddaughter, Nicole E. Armstrong; siblings; relatives and friends.
At the family’s request, there will be no services.
