Preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Addie Johnstone; and grandsons, Adam Gardner and Andrew Zinn. Survived by loving wife of 54 years Cheryl Johnstone; children: Dr. Kelly (Troy) Zinn, Colleen Johnstone, Debi (Eric) Griffith, Dan Johnstone, and Jill (Jason) Johnstone King; grandchildren: Ben Zinn, Erica Griffith, Dante King, Natalie King, and Emma King; great-granddaughter Maggie Zinn; and siblings, Stephen and Craig Johnstone.
Rosary will be Friday, July 30, at 10am followed by a Memorial service at 11am. Both services will be at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (5815 Oak Hills Dr, Omaha, NE 68137). In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association (7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231) or the University of Nebraska Foundation/Epply Cancer Center (1010 Lincoln Mall #300, Lincoln, NE 68508).
