Grace "Jerri" G. Grafft

Grace graduated from Guthrie Center High School in Guthrie Center, Iowa in 1938. She then attended Van Sant Business College in Omaha, Nebraska. While there, she met the love of her life, Lisle Grafft. They were married on April 5, 1941. They were the parents of two children, Gwen (Grafft) Graves and Gregory Grafft.

Grace was a longtime member of Dundee Presbyterian Church, where her rhubarb pie was in high demand at bake sales. She and Lisle were officers and members of ’66 Dance Club. They also loved to travel.

Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lisle Grafft; son, Gregory Grafft; son-in-law, Ray Graves; her parents; and three siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Graves; four step-grandchildren, Lory (Kerry) Olsson, Leisa (Billy) Bloom, Tracy Graves, and Paul Graves; as well as nieces and nephews, Rita Blackwood, Gary (Kim) Petersen, Harriett (Ron, deceased) Deitchler, Pat (Bob, deceased) Cameron, Jeff (Diane) Cramer, Leon (Sharon) Spangler, Joan (Pete) Stamp, and Judy.

A family viewing will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska, 68106, on October 9, 2025, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

A graveside service will follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, at the same address, commencing at 10:00 am on October 9, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nebraska Humane Society, Tunnel to Towers, Shriners Children’s Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
