I just found out today that Greg has passed & my heart sank, I bartended @ Clancy's Pub & I got to know what a nice, gentle, caring, funny guy he was. Greg & Nancy would come in on Wednesday nights for trivia, or for a basketball game, football game, the Olympics, or just to shoot the breeze; most people would call them regulars, I call them friends. He is a genuine guy that will be missed & yes Greg I am taking care of those beer glasses I bought from your parents estate sale! With deepest sympathy, my thoughts & prayers are with his family.

The Anderson family is pretty big, and whenever I would talk about the uncles, my daughter always referred to Greg as the funny one.  He had a way with the kids and was always joking with them and getting them to laugh. 

When his daughters were younger, he always had the camcorder out at birthday parties and events.  When Matt and I got married, he videotaped our wedding and reception and did an excellent job.   He was always friendly and had a smile on his face.  We will miss him dearly.

Just wanted to add that Greg kindly attended our Dad's funeral this past October, and he had very kind things to say about him. This meant a lot to us. I was able to chat with Greg and take a photo. I feel so sad, but know he is with Jack, his dad.

 My friends & I played trivia with him and his friends Nancy & Dave ( the 3 Musketeers). Whether it was 3 teams or 10, he was ready to just have some fun.  Always such a nice guy,  you will be missed. Rest in Peace Greg.

We will always remember the love in his voice when he shared the news of the birth of both his daughters.  And the way his eyes sparkled with pride as they grew into beautiful young women.  Each time we see Sara and Emily we will remember Greg 

This is so sad to hear.  After decades of not seeing you, it was a delight to see you, and converse with you. I'm sure that you will be sorely missed, and my hope and prayer is that your family and those around you will be comforted by our Lord. God bless you. 

Uncle Greg, I miss you.  Thanks for making me smile with a joke or a goofy handshake.    I enjoyed listening to the creative jingles that you sang at Anderson celebrations.   Some of my favorite memories are just being with you at Grandma and Grandpa's house playing 42 in the kitchen, croquet in the backyard, or hanging out in the basement watching sports or doing a jigsaw puzzle.  And it was always fun to visit you at the warehouse!  Rest in peace.  

I have fond memories of Greg and his family when we lived behind them. The sound of basketballs bouncing and going through hoops in the Spring and Summer months when I was a child lulled me to sleep during my early bedtime years. My thoughts and prayers are with Greg and his family at this difficult time.

Am very sad to know that Greg is not with us any more, he always had the great one liners and was such a caring person. I know that you are with people you love.  Rest in Peace.  We will think of you often.

Miss you and love you!  Too many memories to list, but the "Floating Five" is with you forever.  Taking the Christmas Card picture and the softball trophy to everybody's house in Omaha was memorable.   4:10--10-4  great meetings.  The 1989 Final Four in Seattle was a blast.  I will miss you brother forever.  May God be with you and you will always be in my heart!

Greg use to come up to visit us in Minnesota and in Seattle, WA.  We had fun times going to The World's Fair and Seattle Mariner baseball games in 1986 and several March Madness basketball games.  He and I use to play a lot of cribbage games.  He had a kind heart.  Rest in Peace Greg!  You will be missed.

I remember Uncle Greg visiting the Twin Cities one summer when I was living at the Hanson Hilton. I remember talking about our favorite movies and recent reviews of movies we had seen. He always made sure to ask how I was doing and cared very much about his family. He was a very funny guy. I will miss him very much. Rest in  peace, Uncle Greg!

A few years ago, when we took a trip back to Omaha, Uncle Greg gave Gunnar and Greyson a tour of the warehouse.  He showed them all the secret compartments in the loose floorboards and took the time to patiently answer all their questions.  The boys absolutely loved this and his time meant so much to them.  We miss you Uncle Greg, rest in peace!    

It always makes me smile when I see this photo!  Greg was such a caring brother.  I will miss him greatly!  RIP!

Greg was one of the best Uncles you could ask for.  There’s many memories I have with Greg.  From Greg dressing up like Santa Clause, making sure I was safe being the bat boy at his softball games, going out to eat on his lunch breaks at the SOTW, calling Greg “Uncle Dewy,” giving Greg a 2 liter of Moutain Dew at Christmas then he said “Mountain Dewy,” the song he wrote and sung at Grandpa Jack retirement  party about SOTW (classic), his favorite meal sloppy joes with cheese when he came up to MN to visit, his funny jokes and classic movie lines, watching the Super Bowl at Uncle David’s place, etc.  Uncle Greg will be missed greatly. Love you Greg and May you Rest In Peace!

Greg was such a caring and fun guy.  When he came to visit, I showed him what good beer tastes like.  Cheers Greg this Rainer is for you!

Uncle Greg organized and narrated Grandpa Jack and Grandma Lil’s 50th wedding anniversary video. It was a wonderful tribute to them and the entire Anderson family. I will miss him on my trips to visit family in Omaha. Rest In Peace 

Greg’s sense of humor and playfulness towards Jack and Cora will be greatly missed. At a recent family gathering Greg worked with Jack on addition practice even though everyone else was done with math questions. He kept going, making Jack giggle at the extra hard ones. Greg will be missed. 

Greg was one of a kind.  I will remember his jokes, skinned knees from hustling in softball, movie quotes, and always having a smile on his face. 

Greg was my brother-in-law.  He was a fun loving, kind, and thoughtful person with a super sense of humor.  I especially remember the video he put together for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary.  I still replay the Flintstones anniversary song to this day!  I will miss Greg but I believe he is at peace with Annie and Jack.  

Last May Greg came to visit us in Seattle. We had a great time showing him Snoqualmie Falls and treating him to a steakhouse in Renton called Melrose Grill. Cody and I still recall visiting with him last month in Omaha when he told us the best steak he had ever had was that night at Melrose Grill. Greatest compliment considering he is from Omaha. We miss you Uncle Greg, rest in peace!

It was with great sadness to have learned of the passing of my brother, Greg.  He had such a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.  I will always cherish our times together, especially our last major time together in Seattle.  He drove a van packed full of our parents' possessions from Omaha so that the Andersons in the PNW could have some very lasting memories.  He will greatly missed by all.  RIP Brother!
