Preceded in death by parents, James McGaffin Jr. and Louise McGaffin; sister, Patricia (Henry) Perry; and brother, Tom Diesing.
Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Deborah McGaffin; children, Micah McGaffin, James (Sarah) McGaffin IV, Mark (Desiree) McGaffin, and Mercedes (William) Josefiak; grandchildren, Connor, James V, Xavier, Zion, Sebastien, and Merritt; siblings, Kit Diesing, Sue (Carl) Stafford, Tim (Lori) McGaffin, and Chris (Marvin) Carter; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and family.
Jim served as senior pastor for 40+ years in Omaha, primarily serving out of Liberty Church.
A celebration of life for Jim will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Eagle's Nest Worship Center, 5775 Sorensen Pkwy, Omaha, Nebraska 68152.
