James retired as a maintenance manager after 43 years at Metro Area Transit. He loved his cars and motorcycles. He was an avid private aircraft pilot of 68 years and was still active at the time of his death. James was a member of the Quiet Birdmen (QB) and Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 80. James loved his family and he will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Ellnor Rush; former wife, Sheila Rush; sister, Beverly Loher; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Rush. Survived by children, Jaime Rush of Hawaii, G. Scott Rush of Omaha, Timothy Rush of Omaha, Suzette (Joe) Dykman of Montana, and Angel (Ben) Barnhardt of Alaska; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
