Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Concetta Nancy Sortino; his son James William Sortino and his son Russell Joseph Sortino.

A funeral service for Joseph will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A burial will occur at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
