

Judy, born June 30, 1940, in Sherburn, MN, was the daughter of the late Maynard and Melva (Grev) Gettler. She graduated from Sherburn High School in 1958 and earned a degree from Mankato Commercial College in 1959. In 1961, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Intlekofer, in Sherburn, MN, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter in Omaha, NE.
Judy’s legacy is carried forward by her cherished family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Katie Intlekofer; her brother and wife, John and Nancy Gettler; brother-in-law and wife, Ryan and Alicia Intlekofer; brother-in-law Cliff Anderson; and her grandchildren, Cole and wife Molly Intlekofer, David Intlekofer, Alaina and husband Tommy Doerr, Joseph Intlekofer, and Tori Intlekofer; and many loving nieces and nephews. Judy was also blessed with five great-grandchildren and excitedly awaiting a sixth, due in April.
Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Intlekofer, as well as her brother and wife, Charles and Betty Gettler; her sister, Linda Kahn; and her beloved nephews, Elliot Dircz and Jeffrey Gettler. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew them.
An active member of her community, Judy’s life was centered around her faith and involvement in the Central Park Congregational and Northwest Hills Church, where she served not only as a choir member and organist but also as an enthusiastic participant in various groups and activities. Her love for music was evident in her everyday life; she found solace in playing her baby grand piano and organ at home.
Beyond her musical talents, Judy could often be found outside tending her flowers or at her crafting table making treasures for craft fairs and gifts. She rarely missed a chance to root for the Royals or cheer on the Chiefs.
Judy’s family and friends will gather to celebrate her life on November 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Northwest Hills Church in Omaha, NE. In this time of remembrance, they will share stories, laughter, and tears, all while honoring the indelible mark Judy left on their lives.
Judith Ann Intlekofer will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Judy’s name to the Northwest Hills United Church of Christ, 9334 Fort St., Omaha, NE 68134.
A visitation will be held at Northwest Hills United Church of Christ, located at 9334 Fort Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68134, on November 22, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 10:30 am.
Judith Intlekofer's final resting place will be at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 5701 Center St, Omaha.
