She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leslie Stone; her parents, Kenneth and Wilhemina Hicks; and her brother, Allan Hicks. Julie is survived by her sons, Michael L. (Cindy) Stone, Timothy K. (Debbie) Stone; Matthew C. (Jaynae) Stone; Jonathan R. Stone and her daughter, Margaret E. (Andy) Smith. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on February 12, 2026, at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska, 68106, from 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same venue. Burial will take place at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
