On January 27th, June passed away peacefully in her sleep, going on to be by her husband's side once again. Anyone who knew June, knew Lyle was always right there by her side. Her soul was lost without him, and she ultimately passed from a broken heart. They will be reunited once again in their final resting place at Mt. Hope.
June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lyle W. Griffith; brother, Reid and Joseph; and parents, Sally and Albert Johnson.
Survived by children, Nicole Pantona, Dameon Kroulek, and Jamie Johnson; son-in-law, Alonzo Rubio; granddaughters, HayLee and Marissa Rubio; siblings, Ron, Jane, Judy, and Jenni; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for June will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with interment to at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
