Born into the Karnish clan of Omaha, NE Kevin was the 5th in a line of 6 brothers. He spoke of them often and proudly. The same way he spoke of everyone, but none more so than his children. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and SOB. He didn’t like to argue but he knew how to end them, like he ended every conversation; with an “I love you.” He made sure we all knew that he loved us in his own way. Whether it was by giving you his annual tin of popcorn for Christmas or giving you sound yet sometimes questionable life advice. He loved nothing more than to reach out a helping hand to family, friends or even strangers. You could catch him fishing, playing his guitar, tinkering on his cars, or spending time with family.
Kevin is survived by his children; Christopher Karnish (Paulette Ayala-Karnish), Corinne Barone (Timothy Barone), and Claire Horner Brown; grandchildren Ethan Karnish, Anthony, Skyia, and Marcus Ayala, Anthony and Alexis Barone, Eric Fisher, Jacky Horner-Becker, and Alexis Brown; the last surviving Karnish brother, George Karnish; and the love of Kevin’s life, Glennyss Dick. He also has a multitude of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
