I send my condolences in regard to your wife, Linda.  I just saw her obituary online.  I worked for you and Mike Roseland at the front desk at Strategic Staff Mgt in the early 90's.  I gave you the jolly rancher cinnamon candy.  Pls tell Mike I said hello.  I really enjoyed working for your company.   I am very sorry for your loss.   Linda was a great and loving person.  I am still here in Omaha.  You and your family, take care.

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Linda through meeting her at the Cancer Center.  Linda was such a courageous, strong and loving woman.  Every time I would see you come through the door, she brought a little piece of heaven with her.  I am so very sorry for your loss as she touched so many lives.  She left an unbelievable legacy to share with all of us left down here.  May you find peace and solice knowing that she is waiting for you with open arms and smiling as radiantly as ever before.
I can only say thank you for allowing me to be a small part in your lives through her illness.  She will never be forgotten in my life.

In case you are still reading this site, we wanted to tell you again how nice the funeral was.  I loved Linda's urn in amongst the beautiful wild flowers. Makena painted the picture for Aunt Linda in her memory.  All the people who spoke, including you and Bryan, made the service so personal and a loving tribute to Linda.  Lowell & I can't believe she's gone but know she's in heaven and cancer free.  We are here for you if and when you need us.

My heart is so heavy and sad, Linda such a special lady her beautiful smile, that could light a room up and her laughter that could make you feel so good. She will be so missed, I know. My wife and I visited with Linda at their last class reunion, where Linda talked with great frankness about her illness and the complications it produced.  In addition to all that has been posted on this site, Linda was a woman of great courage.  Her passing has made a cold winter even colder; thanks to the message of Easter, spring is coming.

Just wanted to say I love you "aunt pretty." You will be greatly missed.

Where do I begin, Linda was an Angel on earth she helped us through some real rough times when we were at a low point at the hospital in walked Linda, never met her before but Larry's parents sent her to visit, what a gift!  Larry and Linda were there to offer encouragement, help and anything we needed, including a temporary home for our daughter.   God has His angel back but we will miss her so much.   Larry, Matt and Bryan you are in our prayers.

Things I will never forget about my Aunt Linda include her laugh, her smile, her passion for children, her love for family gatherings, her orange fingernails and toenails and her holiday cards that I would open like bombs anticipating the holiday confetti that always came tumbling out of them.  :-)  You were such a spunky person and had a great outlook on life.  You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.  We love you Auntie M!

My sympathy to you and the boys. Linda was an awesome woman to have known. She has been part of everything in my life since my return to Omaha in 2004. Andrew grew up knowing her as the gum lady. We are both saddened that she is gone.  My new husband, who has only met her a couple of times, said that she was a presence rather than a person, always calming, friendly and kind, you just knew she was in the room.  We will miss her flowers and tomatoes in the garden this year- but know that she's planting a new garden everlasting.

When I think of my Aunt Linda I remember her incredible passion for family and how much she wanted to care for ALL the people in her life.  I am so thankful she was a part of my life. She is a tremendous loss. I hope to use the lessons she taught and pass them on----

Linda was a great influential person in my life. Yes, she was my great aunt, but we still have an amazing relationship. She always knew how to cheer me up. I'll never forget her laugh, her humor, and the days of getting pedicures with her, shopping, and just being with this amazing woman. I'll also never forget how she always told me "Robyn, if i would have had a daughter, you're what she would look like." That really meant a lot to me. I'll keep your gorgeous looks going Aunt Pretty! We both have great memories of Linda growing up in Red Oak.  She will be greatly missed by the ROCHS Class of 1968!

Dear Larry and family,
  Linda always laughed and reminded me she was my prettiest cousin.  You know  how beautiful her heart truly was.  I will keep you all in my prayers because I understand the pain of your loss.  We all loved her dearly and will miss her.  She always was so full of life.  I know she will be at peace in heaven. It is just very hard to have to say good bye to such a wonderful person.

I knew Linda through PALS, a breast cancer survivors group.  Linda was always so upbeat.  She was so fun to be around when we decorated and named bras as a fund raiser for the Relay For Life event.  She will be missed.  I will keep her family in my prayers.

Diane and I offer our sincerest condolences to the Malerbi family. Linda was a wonderful lady whose family is just as wonderful. We have had many pleasant experiences visiting the Malerbis these past sixteen years. We will certainly miss Linda and hope that Larry will call on us if we can help with anything.

Jan and family - I worked with Linda a long time ago, at NHI.  She always had a smile and made everyone smile with her.  Your family will be in my prayers.

Linda and I met back in the 80's when I became Brian's babysitter.  Later as singles, we came together again and shared a wonderful friendship and many happy times.  Sadly, once again we lost touch but reunited a couple of years ago and have shared many laughs reminiscing about the old days of disco and big hair.  The passage of time had no affect whatsoever on our friendship.  Linda, I admire your strength, was envious of your beauty inside and out, and will forever miss your smile and infectious laughter.  Peace be with you old friend.

Linda was a member of our group PALS (Pretty Awesome Lady Survivors) and we will all miss her dearly.   We had so many fun times together.  My "forever" memory of her (besides our 18 year friendship) will be the kindess she showed others and her beauty inside and out.  God Bless her and her family.  May you all find comfort knowing that she's at peace in a better place and that she was loved by so many.  My heart goes out to you all.
