Born September 28, 1943, in Omaha, NE, Louis "Buzz" Roger Wells passed away January 16, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis Manley Stewart Wells and Elizabeth Owen Wells (Libby). Buzz is survived by his loving wife Diane Wells, daughter Courtey John (Jody Johnson), Owen Wells (Kate), and Scott Brannan, as well as grandchildren Maya, Liam, Mac, Finn, and Everest. Buzz is also survived by his sister, Karen Wells Watson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Buzz attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was a diehard Hawkeye fan. Buzz had many passions and talents. He was an avid gardener and reader. He was an artist who loved to paint and draw. He also enjoyed furniture restoration. Buzz loved to cook and spend time with friends and family. He and Diane like to travel when they could and find new adventures. Most of all, Buzz loved being a husband, father, and grandfather.
A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church 9302 Blondo St, Omaha, NE 68134 on Saturday, February 12 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Omaha Chapter, Inc., 219 North 48th Street, Omaha, NE 68132.
