Marilyn O Jewett

Preceded in death by husband of 54 years, John R. Jewett. Survived by much-loved children: son, Mark (Marcia) Jewett of Omaha, and daughter, Beth Hillis of Lexington, SC. Also survived by grandchildren, Greg (Lynnsey) Jewett, Lauren (Nicholas) Wagoner, Kaitlin (Nathan) DeYoung, and Kendell (Caitlin) Hillis; step-grandchildren, Joshua (Dinna) Deegan, Christopher (Karla) Deegan; great-grandsons, Graham, Keegan, and Sean; step-great-grandchildren, Adley, Aliah, Abigail, Liam, Aiden, and Lucy; sister, Sara Slack; niece, Susan (Stephen) Strehle; and nephew, David (Lauren) Slack; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Marilyn was born in Pittsburgh, PA, spent next 45 years in northern Ohio. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, and has been a member of Alpha Xi Delta since 1950. Marilyn and John moved to Omaha in the mid-80's. She was also a long-time member and past-president of The Original New Friends of Omaha.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Marilyn's final resting place will be in her hometown in northern Ohio.

Memorials are asked to Morning Star Lutheran Church, at 331 S. 85th St., Omaha, NE 68114.
