He is survived by his wife of fifty years Tracy Penry, son Jonathan Penry (wife Emily), daughter Dionne Bartley (husband Kevin), and four grandchildren Ethan Penry (12) Kain Bartley (11) Elise Penry (10) and Kael Bartley (10).
Mark graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and worked in the transportation industry as an accountant and controller.
A visitation for Mark will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:30 AM, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A burial will occur at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
