Mary Catherine Seefeld

Mary Catherine Seefeld was a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Though she faced many health battles in recent years, Mary always remained positive and fought strong until the end. She left this world on August 14, 2023 at the age of 67, while surrounded by her husband and children.

She was born to Louis and Jule Regnier on March 11, 1956. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and after graduating from high school, she worked in healthcare for many years until retiring. She met her husband Tim in 1983. They shared 40 years of love, 38 years of marriage, and together they had 2 children: Chris & Ashley.

Mary loved laughing with friends, growing flowers in the yard, and in her younger years - walking too fast for anyone else to keep up with her. She had a fiercely competitive streak – as anyone who dared play dominos or cards with her would know. Mary’s favorite place was sitting around the kitchen table, talking with her children and husband for hours after a meal was finished.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Mary will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
