Omaha, Nebraska, an only child and his parent’s pride and joy. He attended Beal Elementary, Norris
Middle High, and graduated in 1981 from South High School in Omaha.
Mike loved to spend time at his uncle Stewart’s ranch in Montana in his early years. As the ranch was
passed down to later generations, he continued to enjoy his time there with cousins and their families.
He enjoyed the daily rituals of branding, moving cattle, target shooting, and relaxing.
Mike was an avid bowler and had many 300 games. He bowled in several different leagues. He also
enjoyed golfing. He enjoyed working in auto parts and visiting with people restoring old vehicles and
keeping up with new changes in automotives.
Mike passed away of natural causes on November 19, 2022 at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by his parents, cousins Patty Taylor Mayott, Thelma Ruffatto, and Frank Ruffatto. He is survived by cousins:
Jay, Bruce, and Frank Wright, Jan Pratt, Ann Shamley, Jean Snider, Diane Ligon and their extended
families.
