Patricia Moyer

Patricia Jo Moyer, 74, passed away on November 7, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on August 11, 1950, Pat dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting others, both through her professional career and personal endeavors.

Pat began her career as a nurse at Methodist Hospital, where she worked from 1970 until 1984. Her compassionate nature led her to a second career as a school secretary at Dundee Elementary School, a position she held lovingly from 1984 until her retirement in 2019. Known for her warm presence and caring attitude, Pat left a lasting impact on many through her work.

Beyond her professional life, Pat was a devout member of Christ Community Church, where she engaged deeply with her community and faith. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, gardening and most cherished of all, spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Pat is survived by her husband, Rolland Moyer; children, Jennifer Moyer, Kelly (Jeff) Ottens, Cathy (Ryan) Shoener, and Eric (Ashley) Moyer; grandchildren, Luke, Harrison, and Jenna Ottens, Isaac and Samuel Shoener, Charlotte and Lexi Moyer; sisters Vicki Grassau, Theresa (Dana) Hall, Julie (Bo) Putnam and Amy (Scott) Moore; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Betty Pistone, and her grandson, Daniel Hall.

A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held in the chapel at Christ Community Church on Friday, November 15 at 11 a.m. If you wish, a donation can be made to Christ Community Church in her memory. Pat's legacy of kindness and care will continue to influence and inspire all who knew her.
