Patricia Diane Richards

Patricia Richards, affectionately known as Patty, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on September 15, 1939, in Salina, Kansas, she spent her final years in Papillion, Nebraska.

Patty was a devoted mother and grandmother, taking immense pride in her roles as she raised her three sons, Nick, Tim, and Kyle (Lisa). Her love extended to her 9 grandchildren, Jaclyn (Brandon), Alex, Tate, Katie, Caleb, Lily, Abbie, Gill, and Emma, and 7 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy and cherished memories. She often spoke of her family as her greatest accomplishment, and her nurturing spirit profoundly impacted their lives.

A lover of travel, Patty enjoyed exploring new places and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She also had a passion for old movies, often reminiscing about her favorite stars and eagerly reading gossip columns. Her adoration for music was evident in her fondness for Dean Martin, Elvis, and the Rat Pack, which provided the topic of discussion for many family gatherings.

Patty was married to George Richards, and had a long-lasting partnership with Mike Hogan. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured moments that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Service will occur Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 am, with Burial to follow. All services at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
