I worked with Pat as a biomed at Mercy through most of the '90's. We had fun at work with plenty of laughs. Perhaps the biggest impact that Pat had was on a 5-year old boy who came to see Pat at Anthony's Steak House when he was playing with The Persuaders. This young boy finally persuaded his mother and father to buy him a drum set at the age of 15 after hearing about how well he played on a beat up kit they secretly got from Sol's. The young man went on to become an accomplished drummer with the band Aces Load'd and is currently with a new band that will make their debut in early June. This young man, my son, Kory, told me two years ago the reason he wanted to become a drummer was from seeing Pat. I was floored. To honor Pat, Kory set up his kit by the Pat's final resting place and played a drum solo that was a medley of Led Zepplin songs Pat was so fond of. I couldn't think of a more appropriate way to send Pat off on his way. As the Lord works in mysterious ways, we found out the singer in Kory's new band is the son of the singer from Trinity. 

Some musicians have a way of channeling energy from the others that have left before us. I told Kory to channel Pat's energy and he will. Pat will remain playing in spirit and presence alongside Kory. 

Thanks so much, Pat. It has been great to know you, your family, and friends. And thank you for shining the light on Kory.

He sang about it most of his life and he has finally found the "Stairway To Heaven" ... Pat you had so many friends that all loved you very much .. but especially the Trinity family ... much love to you and yours

Pat was a sweet funny guy...and what a voice.  Pat and Merri were a perfect couple.  We spent our honeymoons together camping...we were scared to death because we thought a bear was outside our tent...it ended up being Pat snoring!  Good times..I'm so glad he and his beloved Merri can be together again.   Love you Pat!

I had the honor of working with Pat for over 30 years.  He was an amazingly talented and very caring soul.  We had some great times.  I will miss you Pat.

Uncle Pat I am so happy for you that you are in heaven with Aunt Marybeth and family. We are so sad to see you leave us but I know we will all be together again some day. Pat, you entertained thousands and thousands of people and made them happy and let them forget the BS going on in their lives for awhile and that was a good life.
