Richard Edward Hamblen Sr., age 70, of Ralston, Nebraska passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. He is survived by his sons, Edmon "Eddie" Hamblen and Richard "Ricky" Hamblen Jr; granddaughters, Kaelyn M. Hamblen and Kloey R. Hamblen; grandsons, Elijah "Eli" R. Hamblen and Kashton "Kash" C. Hamblen; brother, Thomas (Debbie) Hamblen; sister, Denise Hamblen; aunts, uncles and cousins. Rich is preceded in death by his twin sister, Debbie; mother, Floraine Vachal; father, Edmon A. Hamblen; brother, Gary Hamblen; grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Rich enjoyed bowling, softball and fishing. If you were ever looking for him, you could usually find him at a slot machine. He LOVED being a grandpa ♥ Every Wednesday he had a dinner date with his grandkids.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22nd, 5-7 pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
