Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Marian Sempek; brother, Edward Sempek; sister, Patricia Harris; and wife, Katherine Sempek. Survived by sisters, Eileen Crinklaw, Mary (Paul) Warner, Diane (Tom) Widtfeldt, and Christine (Michael) Koger; children, Michelle Betts, Steve Sempek, Will (Shelly) Retikis, Terry Retikis, and Lisa (Luis) Cordova; sister-in-law, Connie Hill; brother-in-law, Jack Harris; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and special friend, Lorrie Sharp.
Duke served in the U.S. Navy and retired from MUD after 44 years. He was a member of Outdoors Unlimited Gun Club and Rebels Auto Club.
Visitation 5-7pm with a Wake Service 7pm Tuesday, February 27 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 8200 N 30th Street. Funeral Service 10:30am Wednesday, February 28 at the church. Burial Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
