Born September 21, 1958, in Torrance, Calif. Died peacefully in Omaha, Neb., on December 6, 2025. Sherman worked at Majors Plastics for 32-plus years, and was looking forward to retiring at the end of the year and spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and camping and playing in the yard.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Darleen Petersen; sisters, Donna McManamy and Sharon Tomasso; and ex-wife, Judith McShannon. Survived by sons, Chance (Mackenzie) McShannon and Thomas; daughter, Elizabeth; sisters, Sheryl Revord and Gloria (Lloyd) Erickson; many grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends.
MEMORIAL VISITATION Sunday, December 14, 12 to 3 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
