ONEONTA - Duane Charles Morin, passed from cancer August 11, 2016 at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.
He was born December 29, 1975 in Waterbury, CT. He is the son of Sandra (Wells) Morin. He is also survived by his brother, Shawn Morin of Oneonta; his step sisters, Sherrie Bennett of Happy Valley, OR and Erica Morin of Oneonta; and his lifelong and best friend, Sarah Gerold of Portlandville.
Duane lived in Oneonta and worked at Upstate Home, Portlandville and Springbrook, Oneonta. He attended Laurens Central School and also Cazenovia College.
He was a gifted musician and spoke 5 languages.
At Duane’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers any donations would be welcomed by his family to help with Duane’s medical expense c/o Sandy Morin, 296 Winney Hill Road, Oneonta, NY 13820.
