Everett Samuel VanDeBogart Jr.

Butch was born on September 28, 1955 in Oneonta the son of Everett S. and Janice (Tilley) VanDeBogart, Sr.

He was the former owner of the Oneonta Spice Company and also former owner of Mountain Music. He was also a drummer who played in several local bands.

Butch is survived by his mother, Janice M. VanDeBogart of Oneonta; his children, Ah’Leah Companie of Chino Hills, California and Everett S. Companie of Seymour, Connecticut.

He is also survived by his sister, Barbie (Scott) Mednansky of Oneonta and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Everett Samuel VanDeBogart, Sr. and his sister, Glenna Holbrook.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand Street, Oneonta with Rev. Stephen Fournier, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
