Frances Epps

She was born December 12, 1950 in Stamford the daughter of Erling J. and Catherine F. (O’Keefe) Pedersen.

Fran grew up in East Meredith and graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School the Class of 1969. She went on to further her education at the Otsego County School of Practical Nursing.

For 32 years, Fran was a LPN at the A.O. Fox Nursing Home until her retirement in 2002.

An avid Yankees and NASCAR fan, Fran and Paul traveled to many tracks to watch the races. She loved tending to her flower garden, doing jig saw puzzles, listening to music and dancing. A lover of animals and the best sister anyone could ask for. But what brought Fran the greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fran is survived by her long time companion of 22 years, Paul Critti; daughters, Nicole and Richard Brovetto and Michelle and Joseph Muller; Paul’s children, Marissa and Eric Christensen, Jennifer and Kenneth LeBeau, Adam and Brittany Critti and Faith and Joseph Tiemann; grandchildren, Taylor and Niki Cruz, Samuel Muller, Cody and Jordan Wamsley, Cameron Critti, Dominic, Chase and Carter Critti and Parker and Jackson Tiemann; two great grandchildren, Ezra and Elias; two sisters, Catherine and Donald Quackenbush and Maureen and Thomas Jung; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Allen Epps, Jr and her parents, Catherine and Erling “Pete” Pedersen.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 in the Grummons-Bookhout-Bennett Funeral Home, 14 Grand Street, Oneonta from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta.
