Jane C. Perry

Jane Perry, 75, of Franklin, NY, cherished sister and incredible aunt, left this world on February 11, 2019 at Bassett hospital. Jane was born in the Bronx, New York and made her way, upstate, to Franklin, NY with her parents and siblings in 1955. Jane was a valued employee of Corning Inc. in Oneonta, New York for 44 years until deciding to retire to enjoy her time with her family and beloved pets.

Jane is survived by her brother George Perry Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Holly Springs, NC; her brother-in-law, Bill Downs of Ballston Spa, NY; her sister-in-law, Denise Perry of Schenevus, NY; her nephew Michael Michelin of Morganton, Ga; her nephew Robert (Trudy) Michelin of Ravena, NY; her nephew Peter (Gina) Michelin of Saratoga, NY; her nephew Joseph (Dawn) Nowhitney of Franklin, NY; her niece Lisa Dolezel of Otego, NY; her nephew Christopher (Kelly) Perry of Treadwell, NY; her niece Nichole (Jason) Perry of Norwich, NY; her niece Kimberly (Devin) White of Schenevus, NY; as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Perry; her sister Dorothy Downs; her sister and brother-in-law Alice and John Nowhitney; her niece Mary Ludlum; and her nephew George Dolezel.

In addition to the family, she leaves everyone she had ever met with a fond memory and the blessing of having known her.

Loving and kind in all her ways,

Upright and just to the end of her days.

Sincere and true in her heart and mind, Beautiful memories she has left behind.

To honor her wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private gathering will be held for family and close friends in the days to come.

In lieu of flowers, the family's choice of memorial contribution is to be made to the Susquehanna SPCA in Cooperstown, NY as Jane had such a huge heart and love for animals, especially those in need.
