He was born on October 24, 1986, in Cooperstown, New York.
Jared served his country as a special forces sniper for the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged in 2010.
Jared wishes to say he leaves the following family members behind, his dad Daryl; his mom Laurie; his siblings, Joshua, Addison, Melinda, Phil, and Jason; his uncle Kevin and Karen Kiel; and cousin Troy Kiel.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald and Darlene Kiel.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta. Military honors will be performed.
