Megan Lee Walley

She was born on March 3, 1993 in Oneonta, the daughter of John and Jennifer (Hiller) Walley. She attended Milford Central School where she loved softball, basketball, and attended BOCES for the CNA program.

Working in food service, Meg knew what her customers preferred. She had beautiful eyes, an infectious smile that would light up a room, a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh. She was an old soul with a big heart of gold who made friends easily and did not judge people.

Meg loved camping, campfires, nature, animals, the color pink, helping people before herself, the little things in life, boating, and swimming. She loved her puppy nephew Ranger very much!

She is survived by her father, John E. Walley, Otego, NY; her mother, Jennifer L. Walley, Little Chute, WI; and her brother, Marshall R. Walley, Little Chute, WI; grandmothers, Sharon A. Hiller, Little Chute, WI, and Barbara J. Hoag, Maryland, NY; aunts and uncles, Scott Hiller (Denise Clapper) Otego, NY, Julie Quella, Appleton, WI, Donald & Rosemary Hoag, Fly Creek, NY, Steven Hoag, Sugar Hill, GA, and Kimberly Beckley, Milford, NY; cousins, Shawn Hiller, Otego, NY, Michael Hiller, Otego, NY, Owen Quella, Appleton, WI, Piper Hoag, Sugar Hill, GA, Kyle Beckley, New York City, NY, Eric Beckley, Oneonta, NY, Savannah Beckley, Cooperstown, NY, and Taylor Beckley, Milford, NY; and numerous extended family.

She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Jon M. Hiller, and Donald P. Hoag; cousins, Justin Hoag, and Daniel Hoag; and great uncles, Richard Hoag, Douglas Hoag, and Robert Hoag.

Meg gave in death, as she gave in life. She gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation and may save the lives of up to 8 others through her generosity.

Friends are invited to greet the family for a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday June 17, 2023 from 2 to 6 pm, at the Morris VFW, 314 Ellis Rd Morris, NY 13808.
