Sherman Robert All

He was born December 4, 1945 in Oneonta the son of the late Robert Pearcy and Belfrieda (Zeidner) All.

On August 15, 1965, Sherman married Linda Murphy at the Emmons Church.

Sherman was a lifelong area resident and owned and operated Sherlin Dairy Farm with his wife, Linda. He also drove bus for Birnie Bus for 3 years.

He enjoyed farming, walking in the fields up on the hill, deer hunting, driving bus for the handicapped children, visiting with family and friends and traveling, especially to Hawaii. He was also an avid bowler.

Sherman was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall; the Susquehanna Valley Grange of Otego, the Oneonta F.&A. Mason and the Order of Eastern Star of Oneonta as well as the West Oneonta Fire Department.

Sherman is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda All of Oneonta; two children, Michael Robert All of Oneonta and Judith Ann All of Morrisville; four grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, Christopher and Daniel; three great grandchildren, Damien, Gabriel and Autumn; one sister, Delores Ann Baldwin of North Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 5:00 PM in the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 3985 State Highway 23, West Oneonta with Wesley J. Paddock officiating. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sherman’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, New York 13790.
