Adam Andrew Gutierrez

Adam Andrew Gutierrez was born in San Bernardino, California on March 6, 1962. After a long battle with diabetes, our Merciful Lord and Savior took him home to rest on September 17, 2013. A loving husband, father, son and brother, Adam is survived by his adoring wife, Rachel Aguilar Gutierrez; his children, Adam,Jr., Veronica and Johnathan; his parents, Andrew and Frances Gutierrez; and siblings, DeBora, Linda, Manuel, Gloria and Consuelo. In addition, Adam had 12 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces that loved him dearly.

Adam attended OMSD and went on to work at Lockheed-Martin in Ontario, California. He later left Lockheed to work with his father and together they were known as Mr. "G's" Carpentry and Handyman Business. Adam was also a member of Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship in Ontario.

As a child, Adam loved music, singing and playing instruments. He loved fishing with his father and nephews. Adam loved being challenged to fix things and was proud of his accomplishments at doing it so well. He loved cooking and doing barbeque's, singing many songs, dancing and making his family laugh.

In his last few years of life, Adam enjoyed even more his loving wife by his side helping him through his days ahead as his health diminished. Giving him great joy and comfort during those times were the newest addition to his family, his granddaughter, Cassandra and his Chihuahuas, Lulu and Boy. Together, they helped him get by each day that he strived to forget his pain.

He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten. He holds a special place in each one of our hearts where this is not good-bye, but rather we will see him again.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Adam on October 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Draper Memorial Chapel, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, CA 91762. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.
