I have the fondest memories of Tony. I was really just a kid when I was brought into the family.  Family gatherings were always a time of boisterous talking and joking. When Tony arrived or walked into the room, he immediately brought smiles and laughter. It seemed the Chiovare 'boys' (Tony, Fred, Joe, Sal and Victor) were always trying to outdo each other with their crazy antics and performances but it was always Tony who seemed to be the instigator or in the thick of it. He was the first to joke, to laugh, to cry, or give a hug and warm word of encouragement.  He always treated my children, Maria and Nicole, with great respect, warmth, and love and for that I will be forever grateful.  I will never forget Tony and how much he has meant to me and my family.  He was truly a kind and caring man.  May God bring Terry and each of his children, Michael, Cari, Joe, Tracy, Chrissy, and Steven, Claudia and all his grandkids and family members great comfort and happy memories during this difficult time of loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tony was the kind of guy that would light up the room when he walked into it and always made you feel welcome with his big smile. My condolences to the entire family.

To my cousins,  Michael, Chrissy, Joe, Steve and families:  You have all been on my mind now since I heard of your dad's passing.  I think about all the wonderful times we shared as kids at your home and on our family trips together.  Your dad was always so wonderful to me.  He was always smiling, gracious and kind. He had a wonderful sense of humor and incredible sense of family.  Both of your parents have taught you well.  Your dad's legacy will live on in all of you.  God Bless each of you as you learn to adjust to your lives without him.

I'm so sad to hear that Big Tone is gone, so very grateful to have known him. 

Some of my fondest times were going to Yuma Arizona dove hunting, with what was a great bunch of dudes and Tony being the "Godfather" if you will, so very generous, in every aspect. Great memories.

My heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Chiovare family.  It was my privilege to be Tony's assistant for 20 years.  He was such a gracious, humble, kind, and generous man, and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity he gave me.  I'll always remember his wonderful smile and positive approach to life.  He was my mentor and shining example of professionalism.

Terry - My heartfelt condolences to you and Joe, Freddy, Rose and the Chiovare Family.  I know you have lost your soul mate and I am feeling so bad for you. Going through pictures this afternoon brought back so many memories of the great times we had at your home. He was one great guy and we will all miss him.

Tony gave each of us opportunities of a lifetime.  Our admiration and gratitude is boundless.  He was among the very best men we will ever know.

The last few days I have been reminded of my uncle's generosity, support and love for me. Dede and Uncle Tony's house was my second home while growing up. We would pile up into the van and spends weeks in Palm Desert, which were some of the happiest days of my life. Even though life got in the ways these past years, and we didn't get to spend much time together, he will always be in my heart, as my godfather. To my wonderful cousins, Mike, Joe, Stevie, and Chrissy, Kari, Tracy, Claudia and all of your kids, I'm so sorry for your loss of your beloved dad and grandfather.

Tony Chiovare, a man bigger than life itself.  He will be remembered for his kind and generous heart to his family and friends.

A favorite client but more importantly a cherished friend of John Cayer.

Ahh... How I loved the times spent with all the Chiovares'.  Sweet memories that make me smile.  Tony was my daughters Godfather and she was sad to hear the news of his passing.  All the eastern Curcuro's send their condolences.

Toni will be missed by many, what a fine person and friend he was. Westminister was the street where it all happened when we were kids. Toni somehow got me to help fold his papers for his paper rout around our Alhambra neighborhood. What great memmories I have of sitting on the front porch most afternoons laughing and listening to Aunt Angie singing in the kitchen. Love to his family. Donna Moran

Tony was the greatest friend and boss ever.  I was proud to be his Ex. Asst. and Secretary.  My condolences to his beautiful children.  He was a gentleman and caring man.
