Anthony Paul Mendez

Anthony Paul Mendez was 51 years old (not 38) and gained his angel wings on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born in Fontana, California on April 12,1974 to Mary Ann Elizabeth Mendez. His siblings are Leslie Mendez, Nicholas Mendez, and Ernesto Mendez. Who are all his younger siblings despite that he claimed to be the youngest.

He was married to Teresa Marie Mendez with whom he was together for 30 years. He leaves behind his two children Haylo Rose Mendez (Chapa) and Joaquin Antonio Mendez (Sharky).

He was employed at Harvey Mudd College for 8 years as a chef. He also worked as a private sushi chef for 11 years. Cooking was his passion and he loved to share that with those around him.

Some of his favorite interests include fishing, DJ-ing and attending games for the L.A. Rams and L.A. Dodgers.

Family and friends are invited to attend the mass, burial, and reception on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025.
