Carlene is survived by her husband Elias Valdez, daughters Kandi Davis and Terri Djafroodi, son in law Eric Djafroodi step children Kathy Valdez and Michael Valdez, grandchildren Michael Deal, Kristina Deal, Ricky Deal, Marissa Djafroodi, Sarah Zepeda, Erica Djafroodi, Brittney Valdez and Joshua Venema and 10 great grandchildren.
Carlene was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Chloe Horton, her sisters Gerry Snowden, Marilynn Thoma, her brother David Horton and sister in law Donna Horton.
She retired in 1998 from the City of Pomona where she worked as a police and fire dispatcher for over 30 years.
Memorial Service will be held at Draper's Mortuary at 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Ontario, California 91762 on Friday April 8, 2016 at 11:00 am.
