June 1, 1991 - November 6, 2011
Survived by his mother Susana Zubia and father & step-mother Carlos & Kris Speranza, his three brothers, Robert, Jesse & Ryan Speranza, his two sisters, Paulina Nunez and Angelina Nunez, his grandparents, Virginia & Robert Speranza, and Carmen & Antonio Zubia and a large extended family.
On Saturday June 1st, 1991, God gifted the world with Bradley Speranza. He was a strong beautiful boy – both traits inherited by his parents. Susie and Carlos fell madly in love with Bradley the minute they saw him. Bobby was a little apprehensive when first meeting Bradley, but after sometime he realized he had a new partner in crime and a lifelong best friend.
He lived in Ontario, CA all his life and attended Mountain View Elementary, Grace Yokely Middle School and Colony High. He met and kept many lifelong friends along the way. Bradley was always a mischievous little boy, but he always delivered his tiny crimes with humor. Growing up he played many sports with Bobby and his friends– baseball, soccer, slingshot shooting, etc. He picked up a guitar at the age of 13 and has been playing ever since in bands like Party Animal, Zubia, and 8 Miles High.
You may have seen him at the LA County Fair hustling a sale, at your local strip mall sealing asphalt, or driving around in his teal Civic sporting a Hawaiian shirt. He knew how to talk to people and use the right words to say. He also never missed a moment to slide in dry jokes between normal conversations and he was always beaming a big smile. He was charismatic and proud—just like his mom and dad. And you could always rely on Bradley to work hard and be there when you needed him.
If anybody knows Bradley, you know that he was passionate about his friendships and relationships with his family. He never allowed anyone to cross his family and friends – he defended and honored us with dignity and respect. When you walked into a room – Bradley would stand to greet you. He was that kind of a man – he treated us with respect.
Everyone has a funny story about Brad. He has an infectious personality – you were proud to know him and maybe lucky enough to be loved by him. He is proudly looking upon us from Heaven and you know he will be waiting for you when you get there to stand and greet you – to show you around. We love Bradley and we know that we weep not because of the sorrow, but because of the joy he brought into our lives.
