A celebration of life for Brian will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Located at Draper Mortuary 811 N. Mountain Ave. Ontario, CA.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Draper-Mortuary.com for the Fetherolf family.
After 3 and a half years, Brian lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his mother, Fern Fetherolf, sister, Susan Cram and 3 children and their families, Nicole DeRosa, (Rob, Jacqueline, & Robbie) Danielle Shahak (Evan, Ethan & Everett), and Dane Fetherolf (Jessica, Weston & Nixton).
Brian lived his life in every fast lane possible. Starting with swimming, (where legend has it, he still holds records at pools around the Southern California area), and moving on to: dirt bike racing, off roading, speed skiing, boat racing, 1/4 mile cars, and generally all things fast.
He became a well known part of the marine industry first working at Alpha Marine in Rosemead, and then moving on to open B & D Marine in El Monte, CA. Well known for his reliable engine builds that had a unique rumble that made heads turn.
Brian was one of a kind. He was stubborn as hell and while it drove all of us crazy, we attribute that to him beating so many of the odds with this nasty cancer. He had a witty sense of humor and tons of one liners that we all miss. He loved Lake Havasu, driving his boat, camping in Glamis and driving his sandrail. But more than anything, he loved his kids and especially his 6 grandkids. He is already so missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made in his name to the following:
