A graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.

Bringilda Sabungan Pedersen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 80 in Ontario, California. Born on November 21, 1944, in Giporlos, Eastern Samar, Philippines, Bringilda was the daughter of Lorenzo and Macaria Sabungan. As a young woman, she was known for her love of traveling, dancing, and singing. She had a special gift for storytelling, and her

infectious laugh would brighten any room she entered. Bringilda devoted her professional life to caregiving as a health nurse, providing in home care to patients until her retirement. Outside of her career, she enjoyed golfing with her husband Don and tending to their lemon trees and plants at home, creating a

warm and welcoming garden space. She was preceded in death by her son, Crispin Sabungan, and six siblings: Yofreta, Felipe, Domingo, Jacinta, Prudito, and Maxima Sabungan. She leaves behind her loving husband of 25 vears, Don Pedersen; two daughters. Dorena Sears and Minda Weber; two stepchildren, Robin Pedersen, John Pedersen, nine Grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren.
