She was born on August 5th, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA. For many years she worked in the banking industry and rose to the top of her career as a branch manager. Carol had a passion for sports. Whether she was watching the Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, her son Albert Jr.'s team The Cowboys or her grandkids' activities, she enjoyed it and made sure her voice was heard in the stands while cheering them on! She also loved to travel. From her annual 4th of July get away to Campland, to beautiful destinations like Alaska, Jamaica, Hawaii, Cancun, and plenty more. One of her most memorable trips she took was to Rome with her mom and got to see the Pope. Of course she didn’t miss taking a ride to the casinos also!
When Carol was in Junior High, she met the love of her life, Albert. On August 23rd, 1975, they married and went on to have 3 wonderful children. Those children gave her grandchildren and then great grandchildren. It was with them she showed her competitive side, from challenging them to a game of basketball to who can hold their breath the longest. Carol was determined to win. The pool was a place she loved, especially with a nice refreshing Michelada. If you ever attended a concert or party with Carol and Albert, you always saw them on the dance floor. Carol loved music, from Luther to Bruno, Whitney to Mariah, even a little rap as the kids kept her young.
Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years Albert Sr., her daughter Bridgette (Paul Diaz), son Albert Jr. (Aisha) Perez and daughter Cheryl (Eshron Young) , her grandchildren Vanessa, Paul Jr, Albert 3rd, Brianna, Jasmine, Alex, Anthony, Jordan, Marlee and Adonis and 3 great grandchildren Dallas, Amorie and Avery.
