

She was born February 2, 1929, in Marsum, Friesland, Netherlands to Frank and Sadie Kuiphof.
Charlotte spent many years helping organizations in her community. She worked on the Chino Chamber of Commerce Dairy Committee. She assisted many elderly people in the Chino Valley as an active participant with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed her time as a Chino Fair Board Member and years ago she was involved with her numerous friends as a member of the Chino Dairy Bells. Charlotte’s favorite way to spend her day was sipping a cup of tea and chatting with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Steven and Scott Tiemstra, both of Chino; sister Wilma (Jim) Kimble, of Chattory, WA; sister-in-law Aletta Kuiphof, of La Mirada, CA; three grandchildren, great grandsons, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 56 years, Joe Tiemstra, and her brothers, Jim and George Kuiphof.
Memorial service and celebration of life reception will be held Monday, January 9th at 12pm at the Chino Fairgrounds, located at 5410 Edison Avenue, Chino CA. Internment will be held privately at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the City of Hope, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, CA 91010.
