Dale Vernon Bragg

Dale Vernon Bragg of Rancho Mirage, CA passed away at the age of 84 on July 8, 2012. Dale was born on January 10, 1928 in Ontario, CA to Herbert & Mae Bragg. Dale graduated from Chaffey High School class of 1945, served in the U.S. Navy & went on to graduate from USC School of Architecture.

Dale was married to Helen Bakke Bragg for 30 years and has 4 surviving children: Larry Bragg of Modesto, C; Warren Bragg of Poulsbo, WA; Ron Bragg of Bishop, CA and Diane Alfonzo of Maui, Hawaii with grandson, Alexander Alfonzo. He was an established architect in private practice and for many years worked for Riverside County and Rossetti Construction Company.

Dale was a loving husband for the last 29 years to his dear wife and High School Sweetheart, Ann Bird Bragg and is blessed with an extended family including Judy Bird Redman and her husband, Phil and 3 children; Quinn, Alexandria and Andy along with Jeff Bird and his 2 children; Courtney and Jared.

Dale was a great tennis coach to his children, an experienced sailor, expert gardener and an avid

golfer enjoying his last years living on the golf course in Rancho Mirage, CA. Dale and Ann have enjoyed their many friendships from Red Hill Country Club in Upland, CA and Sunrise Country Club, Rancho Mirage, CA.

Services are at noon on Thursday, July 12, at Draper Mortuary in Ontario.
